Happiness Projects - Psycho-Social Education programs for teens

Excessive mobile phone and social media use have been linked to increased mental distress, self-harm, and suicidality in teens. A significant contributor is the lack of real-world communication skills. Teens often rely on emojis and short messages, missing opportunities to learn social etiquette, read body language, and interpret vocal cues—key skills for forming meaningful connections and building positive relationships.

Without these skills, many teens feel anxious in social settings, leading to isolation, depression, and loneliness. They miss the sense of belonging and resilience that comes from real human interaction.

To address this, I offer bespoke workshops for schools, combining positive psychology, psychotherapy, and over 20 years of experience working with teens. These workshops teach essential communication skills, foster confidence, and promote well-being.

Using recognized measures, I can provide evidence of quantifiable improvements upon request.
